Head of Training
Education & Experience
-
BS/BA Degree in Banking, Finance, Management or similar is required
-
Financial Services, Processes and/or system automation experience required
-
Master’s degree in Business Administration, or related field, is preferred
-
5 - 7 years Training experience, specifically managing cross functional training
-
Professional degree in Education or Training
Specific Knowledge
-
Strong understanding of training methodologies, tools and best practices, country regulations, Banking processes, systems and accounting / financial practices
-
Proven track record as a Head of Training / Training Manager of designing and executing successful training programs within large, complex projects in the financial services sector
-
Experience in interfacing with senior management
-
High proficiency with standard computer software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and QPR/Visio
-
Financial services industry experience is required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports and training manuals & presentation skills and leadership skills
-
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)

Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
-
Good computer and database skills

Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
-
Adequate knowledge of learning management software
-
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques

Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI

Sound decision making and organizational skills

Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

Experience in project management and budgeting

Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
